Safety Audits of Social Housing Fit-outs & Voids

Logistical efficiency: This client provides and maintains nationwide social housing, mainly in multistorey blocks. Changes to building and fire regulations have highlighted important responsibilities that our client was not fully covering. Construction Design & Management (CDM) cover had also become a problem.

S2 were conscious of the cost of providing this cover.
By getting deeply involved and developing a good practical understanding of our client’s business, S2 supported them to develop in-house safety management systems and periodic audits (in-house plus periodically by S2) which are affordable and practical. This gives them good legal compliance.
The added value for our client, has been an overall decrease in costs as a result of the practical efficiencies gained. The knowledge and skills of their own staff has also grown immensely.
